Rev. Tom Parrish was born in Perrysburg, Ohio in 1950. He attended Perrysburg High School, received his undergraduate degree in education from the University of Toledo, and his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. Tom has served three congregations in the past 25 years as Senior Pastor. He understands the dynamics of a small congregation and the demands of serving two large congregations. Tom began the Great Commission Network, a renewal movement seeking to support the church in biblical authority and the centrality of Jesus Christ. Tom has written numerous articles as well as writing the final chapter in Can the Pastor Do It Alone? Tom is the radio host of WhereYour Treasure Is , focusing on biblical insight for financial matters, heard on KKMS radio in Minneapolis. He also teaches as adjunct faculty at Bethany School of Missions in Minneapolis. Tom is currently working on several projects including: Tabitha and the Islands of Doom, Asking the Ultimate Questions, and Whatever Happened to Jesus? Thomas is married to his wife Jan of 35 years. Jan is a principal in the Minneapolis Public Schools. She developed the Learning Styles Indicator utilized in the Building Christ-like Character in Children seminar. They have three grown sons and three grandchildren.
